Nature: Alarm Sounding

Location: 34722 Deck St Pots Nets Bayside, DE 19966

On Tuesday afternoon, July 30th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an alarm sounding incident on Deck Street in the Pot Nets Bayside development. It was reported to be a general alarm sounding incident at the residential structure location.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Tanker 80 from the Long Neck facility.

Emergency response crew assignments included a completed 360 evaluation of the building with location of utilities and no change in conditions.  A crew was assigned to perform an interior evaluation as well.

The incident was reviewed with the residential occupants and determined to be a culinary mishap.

All emergency response units were permitted to return to their respective quarters.
