Nature: Vehicle Accident w/Medics

Location: John J Williams Hwy and Bay Farm Rd Millsboro, DE 19966

On Thursday evening, July 25^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a scooter accident on John J. Williams Highway and Bay Farm Road.  Additional emergency alerts included the Sussex County Paramedics, the Mid Sussex Rescue Squad, and the Delaware State Police Aviation Unit – Trooper #2.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Deputy 80 and the Delaware State Fire Police prior to cancellation of all responding fire apparatus and aviation.

It appears that a scooter or moped type vehicle encountered a mishap on John J. Williams Highway which resulted in requests for police, fire and ambulance response.

The Delaware State Fire Police assisted with traffic control.

The Delaware State Police are investigating.
