Location: Rehoboth Beach / Dewey Beach

On Saturday, July 6th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company provided designated standby crews for firework displays within the fire district of the Rehoboth Beach.  These assignments included fully staffed apparatus from Indian River (80) for Brush 80-0 and Polaris 80 UTV 2.

Both units were assigned to facilitate incendiary safety resources and incident response in the areas of designated assignments as was many mutual aid companies from throughout the State of Delaware.  This standby assignment commenced at approximately 1600 hours and terminated near approximatley 2400 hours.

Illustrated herewith are various photographs of Indian River's activities which did not require any incident responses.

Indian River hereby expresses its appreciation to Rehoboth Beach VFC for coordinating such activities and making fire safety and prevention a priority.
