Nature: Fireworks Standby – Sun Retreats – Rehoboth Bay (formerly Leisure Point)

Location: Long Neck

On Saturday, July 6th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company provided designated standby crews for firework displays at the Sun Retreats – Rehoboth Bay Resort off Long Neck Road. These assignments included fully staffed apparatus from Indian River (80) with Tanker 80 and 80 Marine 2.

Both units were assigned to facilitate incendiary safety resources and marine traffic as well as provide distribution of fire prevention and golf cart safety information.
