Nature: Traffic Collision - High Mechanism (Ejection)

Location: Rehoboth Shores (80)

Address: Long Neck Rd and Goose Pond Rd Millsboro, DE 19966

Early Thursday morning, July 4^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for vehicle accident with ejection in the area of Long Neck Road and Goose Pond Road (Rehoboth Shores).  Additional emergency alerts included the Mid Sussex Rescue Squad, the Sussex County Paramedics, and LifeNet2 Aviation unit.  It was reported to be a golf cart roll-over with ejection.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Rescue 80 and Incident Command 80 from the Oak Orchard area and Brush #80-0 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crews could not locate an incident with additional reports indicating multiples vehicles and persons fled the location with no lights turned on.  After an evaluation of the area, all units were advised to return to their respective quarters with the incident being unfounded.
