Nature: Traffic Collision

Address: John J Williams Hwy and Long Neck Rd Millsboro, DE 19966

On Wednesday morning, July 3^rd, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company and the Mid Sussex Rescue Squad were alerted for a vehicle accident on Long Neck Road near the entrance to the Shell station.  It was reported to be a two vehicle collision.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Brush 80-0 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignments included vehicle stabilization, patient stabilization where needed, fluid and debris recovery, traffic control and incident mitigation.

It appears that a dark colored Chrysler sedan and a Dodge Caravan encountered a mishap causing driver’s side damage to the Chrysler and front-end type damage to the mini-van.  All occupants refused any medical attention.  All emergency response apparatus were cleared once the fluid and debris clean up was completed.

The Delaware State Fire Police assisted with traffic control.

The Delaware State Police are investigating.
