Nature: Vehicle Accident

Location: Beaver Dam Rd and Hollymount Rd., Harbeson, DE 19951

On Sunday, June 30^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a vehicle accident at Beaver Dam and Hollymount Roads.  It was reported to be a head-on collision at or near the intersection.

Emergency response apparatus from Indian River included Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine #80-1 from the Long Neck facility.  Additional emergency response units included the Mid Sussex Rescue Squad as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignments included vehicle stabilization where needed, patient stabilization, fluid and debris recovery and traffic control.

It appears that a white RAM pick up and a blue Telsa sedan collision at or near the intersection causing damage to both vehicles. All emergency response apparatus was cancelled or permitted to return to their respective quarters.

The Delaware State Fire Police coordinated traffic control for the duration of the incident.

The Delaware State Police are investigating.
