Nature: New Pierce Truck InspectionLocation: Pierce Plant - Bradenton, FLOver the past two days, a cadre of personnel from indian River's Truck Committee attended the Pierce Manufacturing Plant in Brandenton, Florida to perform the final delivery inspection for the new Pierce Saber FR engine pumper to replace Engine #80-3.The committee performed the truck specification inspection, pump tested, developed a punchlist, and toured the manufacturing plant.The punch list Items will be completed on the truck which then will be delivered to Salisbury, Maryland to Atlantic Emergency Solutions for acceptance review. At that point, the apparatus will be sent out to a tool and equipment installation contractor as well as specific graphics installation.
