The Auxiliary of the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company has come a long way since its inception on January 7, 1954 and it continues to enhances its operational effectiveness by generating funds for contributions to the fire company, area burn centers, scholarship funds for the firefighters and auxiliary members, resources for impacted families after an unfortunate fire (i.e., clothing, food and financial support), and served as a community outreach entity to support many other worthy causes.
Recently, the Auxiliary has developed a new organizational logo to be utilized with future advertisements, publications, etc. and as a branding mechanism. Additionally, the Auxiliary has amended its name to be the Auxiliary of the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company, Inc. to be more inclusive during its recruitment and retention initiatives.
This vibrant organization realizes that it must change in order to attract volunteers that are willing to serve and fulfill the operational objectives as highlighted in our overall mission statement.
Illustrated herewith is the revised logo.
