Fabrication Process for Indian River's new Pierce Saber Engine - Progress Report #14
The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company is pleased to announce the production status update for one of its new Pierce Saber 7000 fire truck to replace our aging fleet. This unit will be a Pierce Saber Cab & Chassis and will replace Engine #80-3 - https://irvfc.com/apparatus/detail/4624
Atlantic Emergency Solutions recently published information that this replacement engine is staged to enter the customer prep department of the off-line process. A contingency from Indian River will be traveling to Florida to perform the delivery inspection.
This replacement engine will feature the following options:

Pierce Saber Cab & Chassis

Cummins L9, 450 HP Engine

3000 Series Allison Transmission

1500 GPM Pump

1000 Gallon Water Tank

Husky 3 Foam System
-
Firetech Scene Lighting
The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company will publish additional information as it becomes available. It is possible that these truck updates will be posted weekly hereafter.
