Nature: America Lets Roll Event – American Legion Post #28

Location: 31768 Legion Road, Millsboro

On Saturday, June 8^th, the American Legion Post #28 sponsored an “America Let’s Roll Tribute” and chose to recognize Delaware’s first responders. 

This event was hosted on the grounds of the American Legion Post #28 and included live entertainment and a variety of activities throughout the day.

The first responders included the Delaware State Police, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company, and the Mid Sussex Rescue Squad.  Each organization was provided a period of recognition during the event.

The Delaware State Police Aviation Unit was scheduled to attend and upon their landing approach, the aviation unit received an assignment and had to depart.

The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company did provide an apparatus display, fire prevention booth, and opportunity for patrons to evaluate the apparatus.  Indian River also received an emergency incident and had to depart the event as well.

The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company would like to acknowledge and thank the American Legion for their hospitality.
