Nature: Flammable Liquid Gas Pad Training
Location: Delaware State Fire School – Georgetown Campus
On Wednesday, May 29th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company held its monthly training drill and utilized the Delaware State Fire School – Georgetown Training Facility to hone the volunteer firefighter’s flammable liquid incident response skills.
The firefighters performed various training evolutions to learn how to deal with flammable gas fires because of the intense heat involved with the training process an incredible amount of attention and focus was necessary to successfully mitigate the training evolutions.
