Nature: Vehicle Fire

Location: 11 Nelsa Lane, The Meadows, DE 19966

On Friday evening, May 24^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a vehicle fire on Nelsa Lane in The Meadows off Oak Orchard Road.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tanker 80 from the Oak Orchard Road and Engine #80-1 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police. Additional emergency alerts included the Mid Sussex Rescue Squad.

Emergency response crew assignments included fire suppression tactics to fully suppress the vehicle fire. 

Initial arriving first responders found a SUV type vehicle with the engine compartment involved with fire. 

After fire suppression, the various fire suppression personnel completed fluid and debris recovery and clean up.
