Nature: Auxiliary Recognized by Delaware Legislature

On Tuesday, May 21^st, the Honorable Jeff Hilovsky, State Representative – 4^th District, Delaware House of Representatives hosted members of the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company Auxiliary in recognition of their 70^th Anniversary milestone.

The ladies in attendance were Bonnie Rogers, President; Linda Cullen, Past President; Sharon Knighton, Treasurer; and Tammy Snedeker, Secretary.

Representative Jeff Hilovsky wanted to formally recognize the Auxiliary Cohort and thought that Legislative Hall would be a great venue to bestow such recognitions from the Delaware Senate and House of Representatives.

In essence, the Senate and House Tributes were to recognize the Auxiliary as it celebrates their 70^th Anniversary services the communities of the Oak Orchard-Long Neck and supporting the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company.  These ladies have formed a union of friendship that has achieved and accomplished much success with their tireless devotion and endless spirit to continue serving the community and the Indian River fire district.
