On Sunday, May 19th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an alarm sounding incident on Rosy Finch Court in the Peninsula Lakes development off Bay Farm Road. It was reported to be an alarm sounding for a general smoke alarm incident.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tower 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine #80-3 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignments included a completed 360 evaluation of the building with location of utilities and no visible issues.

It was identified to be a culinary mishap after discussing with the home occupant.

All emergency response units were permitted to return to their respective quarters.
