Nature: Alarm Sounding

Location: 34452 Sunset Dr., Pot Nets Creekside, DE 19966
 

On Tuesday, May 7th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an alarm sounding incident on Sunset Drive in the Pot Nets Coveside development. It was reported to be an alarm sounding in the rear of the structure.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tower 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine #80-3 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignments included a completed 360 evaluation of the building with location of utilities and no visible issues.  A crew was assigned to perform and interior evaluation as well.

It was determined that there was a faulty detector.

All emergency response units were permitted to return to their respective quarters.
