Nature: Medical Emergency

On Sunday, April 14th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted to assist with a medical emergency and requested to establish a landing zoning for the pending aviation unit – Delaware State Police Trooper 2.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Rescue 80 and Utility 80-11 from the Oak Orchard facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignments included a landing zone establishment near Oak Orchard Road and Chiefs Road.  The aviation unit transported the patient to a medical facility.

The Delaware State Fire Police assisted with traffic control for the duration of the incident.
