Nature: Alarm Sounding

Location: 31123 Riverwood Rd., Stonewater Creek, DE 19966

On Wednesday, April 10^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an alarm sounding incident on Riverwood Road in the Stonewater Creek development of Indian Mission Road.  It was reported to be a kitchen fire alarm sounding.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tower 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine #80-3 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignments included 360? degree exterior evaluation of the residential structure identifying conditions and location of utility services, interior evaluation and discuss with the home occupants.

It appears that this incident was the result of a culinary mishap and all units were permitted to return to their respective quarters.
