Nature: Auxiliary Fried Chicken Dinner Event

On Saturday, March 23^rd, the Auxiliary of the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company hosted a Fried Chicken Dinner Drive-thru & Dine-In at our Station #1 facility.

The pick-up / drive thru event commenced at approximately 2 p.m. with a line forming at 1:30 p. and closed at 4 p.  We would like to thank each and every patron for their patience, polite and pleasant personality.  Thank you for your patronage.

The dine-in phase of the event commenced at 5 p. and continues thru 6:30 p.m.  However, we were sold out prior to 6 p.

Indian River believes that our recent adjustments have been extremely beneficial and allows us to better accommodate the community demand.  The implementation of an additional fryer has been an exceptional benefit.

The fried chicken dinner included mashed potatoes, coleslaw, beets, green beans, bread and butter and dessert.  The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company will continue to enhance and adjust these dinner events to best accommodate the demand.  There were approximately 210 drive-thru dinners and 40 dinners during the dine-in phase of this event.

The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company would like to acknowledge the patronage and thank you for the support and hopes that you will return for future events.
