Nature: Vehicle Accident

Location: John J Williams Hwy and Plaza Dr Millsboro, DE 19966

On Friday evening, January 12^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a vehicle accident near Plaza Drive and John J. Williams Highway.  It was reported to be two vehicles with minor injuries.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Engine #80-1 from the Long Neck facility.  Additional emergency alerts included the Mid Sussex Rescue Squad.

Emergency response units were cancelled via EMS personnel; however, according to protocol Engine #80-1 continued to the incident location.

It appears that blue Honda Accord sedan and a silver Cadillac sedan collided while attempting to access the parking lot areas via Plaza Drive causing minor damage to both vehicles.  There was atleast one patient transported for additional observations.

The Delaware State Police are investigating.
