Nature: Alarm Sounding

Location: 26363 Timbercreek Lane, Long Neck Shores, DE 19966

On Friday afternoon, January 12^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an alarm sounding incident on Timber Creek Lane in the development of Long Neck Shores off Bay Farm Road.  It was reported to be multiple second floor smoke alarms sounding at the residential structure.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tower 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine #80-3 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crews performed an initial exterior evaluation and the homeowner was immediately present to identify a culinary mishap wishing to thank the first responders and return everyone.

The Delaware State Fire Police coordinated traffic control for the incident.

All units returned to their respective quarters.
