Nature:  Washdown – Property Damage – Vehicle Accident

Location:  Bay Farm Road

On Tuesday, January 2nd, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a washdown assignment resulting from a property damage vehicle accident on Bay Farm Road. 

Emergency response units from Indian River included Engines #80-1 and 80-3 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignments included traffic control, fluid and debris recovery.

It appears that a black Chevrolet Trax and a yellow Chevrolet Colorado pick-up collided at the shopping center entrance off Bay Farm Road.  Both vehicles sustained damage.

The Delaware State Fire Police assisted with traffic control for the duration of the incident.

The Delaware State Police are investigating.
