Nature: Alarm Sounding

Location: 27285 18Th Blvd The Peninsula, DE 19966

On Sunday, December 24^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an alarm sounding incident on 18^th Blvd in the Peninsula off Bay Farm Road.  It was reported to be a smoke detector in the loft area of the residential structure.

Emergency response units returning from an earlier incident with the Lewes area responded directly to the 18^th Blvd incident.  These units included Engine #80-3 and Tower 80.

Emergency response crew assignments included an interior and exterior evaluation of the residential structure with additional focus being the loft area where an attic ladder was requested. 

All crews were permitted to returned to their respective stations.
