Nature: Vehicle Accident w/Medics

Address:  26396 Bay Farm Rd Millsboro, DE 19966

On Tuesday afternoon, December 19^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a vehicle accident near Domino’s Pizza off Bay Farm Road.  It was reported to be a pedestrian struck with possibility of minor injuries.  Additional emergency alerts included the Mid Sussex Rescue Squad and the Sussex County Paramedics.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Incident Command 80 from the Long Neck area. 

Emergency response crew assignments included assistance with patient stabilization and assessment.  All responding apparatus was cancelled while enroute excluding EMS.

It appears that a female pedestrian was struck causing minor injuries.  Updated information will be published upon availability.

The Delaware State Fire Police assisted with traffic control for the duration of the incident.
