Nature: Outside Fire

Location: Lawton Lane Millsboro, DE 19966

On Wednesday evening, November 15^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an outside fire incident on Lawton Lane near Millsboro.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tanker 80 from the Oak Orchard facility, Engine 80-1 and Brush 80-0 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.  Additional emergency alerts included the Mid Sussex Rescue Squad, an aviation unit from LifeNet2, and the Sussex County Paramedics.  The aviation unit was cancelled. 

Additional responses were requested from the Delaware State Police and the Delaware State Fire Marshal’s Office.

At the current time, an investigation into the incident is ongoing, and no further information will be made available at the current time.
