Nature: Shed (Non-Vehicle Size)

Location: 142 White Pine Dr Pines At Long Neck, DE 19966

On Tuesday, November 14^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for shed fire on White Pine Drive in the Pines of Long Neck development off John J. Williams Highway.  It was reported to be the back of a shed on fire.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tanker 80 from the Oak Orchard facility, Chief 80-15 and Engine #80-3 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Indian River’s Safety Officer arrived on scene and identified a 10 x 12 shed with white smoke showing from the rear of the building.

Emergency response crew assignments included suppression with a water can, ventilation, etc. The incident was placed under control with cancellation of all apparatus except Engine #80-3.
