Nature: Vehicle Accident

Location: 24710 John J Williams Hwy Millsboro, DE 19966

On Wednesday, October 11^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Co., Inc., was alerted for a vehicle accident on John J. Williams Highway east of Eagle Lane.  It was reported to be a two vehicle motor vehicle accident with the possibility of one person desiring evaluation.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine #80-1 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police. Additional emergency alerts included the Mid Sussex Rescue Squad.

Emergency response crews were cancelled upon arrival of Rescue 80 based upon all patient refusals.

It appears that a Dodge RAM Pick Up hit the rear of Volkswagen Bug while traveling on John J. Williams Highway.

The Delaware State Police are investigating.
