Nature: Alarm Sounding

Location: HYD IN FRONT OF RESIDENCE

On Monday, September 25^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an alarm sounding incident on Riverwood Road in the Stonewater Creek development off Indian Mission Road.  It was reported to be the hallway smoke detector.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tower 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine #80-3 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignments included an exterior and interior evaluation as well as discussion with the residential occupants. 

It appears that the residential occupants attempted to silence that alarm sounding incident and was not successful.  There was not any need for fire company response at the residential structure.

All units were authorized to return to their respective quarters.
