Nature: Appliance Fire

Location: 32042 Robin Hoods Loop, Sherwood Forest, DE 19966

On Saturday, September 26^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an appliance fire incident on Robin Hoods Loop the Sherwood Forest development off John J. Williams Highway.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tanker 80 and Incident Command from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine #80-3 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignments included an interior and exterior evaluation for fire extension, bring a water can for suppression and positive pressure ventilation to front of the structure.

It appears that the occupant encountered an appliance incident and required assistance.

The Delaware State Fire Police coordinated traffic control for the duration of the incident.
