Nature: Structure Fire

Location: 110 West Third St Lewes, DE 19958

Early Friday morning, September 1^st, the Indian River (80), Milton (85), and Rehoboth Beach (86) fire companies were alerted to assist Lewes (82) Fire Department with a multi-purpose structure fire on West Third Street in Lewes.  First arriving units identified a two and ½ story commercial structure with fire showing on the “Charlie” side on the porch.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tower 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine #80-3 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignments reported to the manpower pool and were provided designated duties with an assigned crew.

The Delaware State Fire Police assisted with traffic control and scene access.

The Delaware State Fire Marshal is investigating.
