Nature: Fried Chicken Test Run & Tasting

Location: Indian River – Station #1 – Oak Orchard

On Saturday, August 19^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company consulted with a renowned fried chicken food service provider in preparation for the upcoming Fried Chicken Dinner on August 26, 2023.

Indian River retained the professional services and consultation of Debbie Swithenbank, former Owner and Operator of Chicken Holiday.

Debbie provided guidance and assistance to the personnel which hosted a test run preparing and cooking chicken to exemplify the quality and type of fried chicken served at her restaurant.  This test was a success and many reminisced this reiteration of Chicken Holiday offerings.

Indian River is pleased to identify that Debbie will be assisting with the upcoming Fried Chicken Dinner on Saturday, August 26^th.
