Nature: Alarms - Residential (Single) - Carbon monoxide

Cross Streets: Dead End/Helmsman Way

On Wednesday evening, August 16^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an alarm sounding at a residential structure on Dockside Court.  It was reported to be a carbon monoxide detector activation.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine #80-3 from the Long Neck facility. 

Emergency response crew assignments included an exterior and interior evaluation.  It was determined that the residential occupants were changing to batteries.

All apparatus were cleared to return to their respective quarters.
