On Wednesday afternoon, August 16^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted an alarm sounding incident on 18^th Blvd in the Peninsula development off Bay Farm Road.  It was reported to be an alarm sounding at a three-story multi-residential structure.  It was identified to be an alarm in the entire complex.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tower 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engines #80-3 from the Long Neck facility.

Emergency response crew assignments an evaluation of the structure to determine the source and cause of the incident, silence the alarm sounding, notify the alarm servicing company, coordinate with the facility management and security, etc.

It was determined to be an alarm system issue because the respective pull station was impacted by water the day before and no corrective action was pursued.  The HOA representative, and the facility management and security personnel were advised to coordinate repairs with the alarm servicing entity.

All apparatus was cleared to return to their respective stations.
