Friday August, 11 2023 @ 18:04Nature: Traffic CollisionAddress: 24360 Banks Rd Millsboro, DE 19966Cross Streets: Creek View Dr/Big Oak LnOn Friday evening, August 11th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a vehicle accident on Banks Road between Creek View Drive and Big Oak Lane. It was reported to be a single vehicle into a pole.Emergency response units from Indian River included Command 80 and Engine 80-1 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police. Additional emergency alerts included the Mid Sussex Rescue Squad.Emergency response crew assignments included notification of the utility service provider, vehicle stabilization, and traffic control.The driver for the vehicle refused medical transport.The Delaware State Fire Police coordinated traffic control for the duration of the incident which initially closed Banks RoadThe Delaware State Police are investigating. |
