Nature: Alarm Sounding

Location: 32082 Riverside Plaza Dr Riverside Plaza, DE 19966

On Tuesday afternoon, July 25^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an alarm sounding at a multi-residential complex on Riverside Plaza Drive off Oak Orchard Road.  It was identified as multiple alarms coming from the same zone.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tower 80 from the Oak Orchard facility, Engine #80-3 from the Long Neck facility and the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crews completed an exterior and interior assessment of the three (3) story multi-residential complex, identified that the alarm company service personnel were on location, and could not ascertain any rationale for the alarm sounding.  Earlier in the day, the alarm company was testing the system.

The Delaware State Fire Police coordinated traffic control for the duration of the incident.

This location was placed under officers call for the next 12 hours.
