On Monday morning, July 17th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a fire alarm incident at Lingo Creek Apartments off Long Neck Road,

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tower 80 and Tanker 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine #80-3 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignments included an interior and exterior evaluation with overall incident mitigation efforts. The building maintenance personnel were requested to respond to the incident location as well.  There was an issue with the wiring for the pull station alarms that needed corrective action.

The incident was turned over to the building maintenance personnel and fire apparatus was authorized to return.
