Nature: Indian River Appoints 70^th Anniversary Parade Grand Marshal

The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company is pleased to announce the Grand Marshal of the 2023 – 70^th Anniversary Parade – Terry Timmons!

Terry joined the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company in April 1966 and has held the offices of Board of Director, Vice President, Chief Engineer, and Engineer as well as serving on numerous committees.

Terry was awarded a Life Membership in December 1980 and in February 2018, was provided a Tribute from the Delaware House of Representatives for his volunteerism and dedicated service to the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company and surrounding communities.

Terry continues to perform repairs and maintenance on the fire stations’ telecommunication, radio, audio / visual equipment and provides technical advice on a myriad of operations.  

Indian River is excited and honored to welcome Terry Timmons to lead the 70^th Anniversary Parade Saturday, July 8, 2023.
