Nature: 1st Annual Pond Pounder Kids Fishing Tournament Results / Contribution to Indian River 

Location: Half Shell Pond – Pot Nets Bayside - Long Neck

On Saturday, June 17th the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company attended the 1st Annual Pond Pounder Childrens Fishing Tournament.  The event was held at Half Shell Pond in Pot Nets Bayside

Pursuant to the information posted on the Paradise Grill Facebook page the inaugural event of the POND POUNDER was a HUGE SUCCESS!

Thank you to everyone that came out today to participate in the festivities! Mother Nature provided us with an amazing day!

There were a total of 103 children that registered to fish in the inaugural event today! The entry fee of $5 for every child registered was donated to the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company for grand total of over $500 raised!

• Girl - Brinley Pry with 31 fish caught!

??Ages 7-9??

• Boy - Charlie Knoll with 73 fish caught! He is also our GRAND CHAMPION OF THE FIRST POND POUNDER!

• Girl - Alyssa Brown with 32 fish caught!

??Ages 10-12??

• Boy - William Elliot with 35 fish caught!

• Girl - Aryana Vazquez with 30 fish caught!
