Nature: Vehicle Accident w/Medics

Location: 31206 Indian Mission Rd Millsboro, DE 19966

On Friday evening, May 26^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a vehicle accident on Indian Mission Road.  Additional emergency alerts included the Sussex County Paramedics, the Mid Sussex Rescue Squad, and the Delaware State Police Aviation Unit – Trooper #2.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Rescue 80 and Incident Commend 80 from the Oak Orchard area and Engine #80-1 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignments included traffic control, incident evaluation and cancellation of all not needed emergency response resources based the nature of the incident.

It appears that blue colored vehicle was attempting to access a private driveway, misjudged, and ran into a drainage ditch.

The Delaware State Fire Police coordinated traffic control for the duration of the incident.
