Nature: Alarm Sounding – Standby Crew Assigned Response

Location: 25711 Crab Aly E Pot Nets Creekside, DE 19966

On Sunday afternoon, March 19^th while first responders from Indian River (80), Millsboro (83) and Lewes (82) fire companies were operating at an earlier incident, Indian River was alerted for a general fire alarm sounding at residential location on Crab Aly East in the Pot Nets Creekside development. 

The emergency response units from the defined standby / cover up crew assignments (Lewes apparatus -82-2 and 82-4 and Millsboro apparatus 83-3) as well as Brush 80-0 from the Long Neck facility responded to mitigate the incident.

Emergency response crews identified that the incident was the result of a culinary mishap.

All responding apparatus was permitted to the return to their respective standby / cover assignment.
