Nature: Wilmington Manor Provides Pre-Arranged Standby

On Saturday, February 25, 2023, the Wilmington Manor Fire Company provided a pre-arranged standby cover-up crew at the Oak Orchard facility for the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company personnel to attend their Annual Firefighter & Ladies Auxiliary Appreciation Banquet.

The standby crew responded to two automatic fire alarm incidents in the Indian River Fire District during this time period:

Location: 13 Tecumseh Pass Indian Summer Village

2. Saturday February, 25 2023 @ 20:27

Nature: Alarm Sounding

Location: Crab Barn

Address:  32600 Long Neck Rd - Millsboro, DE 19966

In both automatic alarm incidents the calls were mitigated with minimal assistance from the responding emergency apparatus and firefighters.  Both incidents were associated with culinary concerns.
