On Thursday, February 16^th and February 23^rd, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a citizens assist / service call incident on Sandy Drive in the River Winds formerly Oak Orchard West development off Oak Orchard Road.   It was reported to be a child locked in an automobile.

Emergency response units from Indian River utilized various lock out toolkits to gain access to the vehicle in order to mitigate the incident and gain access inside the vehicle.
