Nature: Confined Space Rescue

On Wednesday morning, February 1st, many emergency response entities were alerted and requested to respond to the location of a confined space rescue incident on Thorogoods Road in Dagsboro.

It was reported that worker was stuck in a sand bin approximately 60 feet in the air at a commercial job site.  The man was reportedly stuck up this face in sand and emergency efforts are being pursued to extricate the worker.

It was reported that approximately 4:40 p.m., the worker was extricated and being evaluated by emergency medical services prior to being transported by awaiting aviation to medical facilities.
