Nature: Service Call-Fire

On Wednesday evening, November 30^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a service call to assist a residential property owner with a reported large tree branch fallen into the residential structure puncturing a hole in the roof. 

Response units from Indian River included Engine #80-3 and Tower 80 from the Oak Orchard facility.

It appears that the residential property owner reported that a large tree branch fell onto the residential structure puncturing a hole in the roof area.  Assistance was provided to the homeowner with accessing the roof area, securing the impacted area, and placing protective sheathing over the impacted area until a roofing contractor could provide adequate repairs.
