On Saturday morning, November 26^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company to assist with a medical emergency and establish a landing zoning in the vicinity of Long Neck Road near White House Beach.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine #80-1 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police, Sussex County Paramedics and the Mid Sussex Rescue Squad.

Emergency response crew assignments included the establishment of a landing zoning in the vicinity of the entrance to White House Beach off Long Neck Road.  The landing zone assist included with traffic control and transporting the patient from the ambulance to the aviation unit.

The Delaware State Fire Police assisted with traffic control for the duration of the incident with closing Long Neck Road while the aviation unit was landing and taking off.
