Nature: Medical Emergency

City: Gull Point

On Thursday evening, November 17^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted to assist with a medical emergency and establish a landing zoning in the vicinity of Gull Point.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tanker 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine #80-1 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police, Sussex County Paramedics and the Mid Sussex Rescue Squad.

Emergency response crew assignments included the establishment of a landing zoning behind Harmon’s Body Shop and assist with transporting the patient from the ambulance to the aviation unit.

The Delaware State Fire Police coordinated traffic control for the duration of the incident.
