Nature: Apparatus from Yesteryear – Engine #80-2

Location: Coaling, Alabama

Illustrated herewith is Indian River’s former Engine #80-2 a 1994 Spartan 4-Guys Custom Pumper that was retired from Indian River in February 2014 and transferred to Coaling, Alabama.

Today, this Engine 80-2 has been transformed into Engine #1601 and remains an active part of Coaling, Alabama fire suppression fleet. 

Illustrated herewith are recent photographs of this engine awaiting and/or performing its annual pump test certification process. As with past certification testing, this unit passed with flying colors.
