Nature: Gas Leak (Natural and LP Gases)

On Monday, September 19^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a gas leak / odor of propane on Rivers Edge Road in the Stonewater Creek development off Indian Mission Road.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Engine and #80-1 #80-3 from the Long Neck facility, Rescue 80 and Tanker 80 from the Oak Orchard facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignments included investigation and evaluation to identify the rationale for the odor.  The incident was recorded a good intent because no source or odor was identified at the time of our arrival.

After discussion and evaluation, all units were permitted to return to their respective quarters.
