Nature: Pre-arranged Fireworks Standby Assignment

Location:  Pot Nets Bayside

On Sunday, September 4^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company provided a designated standby crew for firework displays at Paradise Grill in Pot Nets Bayside.  These assignments included a fully staffed apparatus from Indian River (80) and Dagsboro (73), brush crew from Millsboro (83), and an ATV assignment.

The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company utilized this opportunity to continue its Community Risk Reduction Initiative to highlight Golf Cart Safety, Fire Safety, Fire Prevention, as well as various Recruitment Initiatives.  These first responders distributed a tri-fold golf cart safety pamphlet that highlights various safety tips as well as recruitment and retention initiatives.
