Nature: Structure Fire

Early Saturday morning, September 3^rd, the Indian River (80), Lewes (82), and Millsboro (83) fire companies were alerted for a structure fire at Harris Teeter off Bay Farm Road.  It was reported to be an electrical appliance fire.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tower 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine #80-3 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.  Additional emergency alerts included the Sussex County Paramedics and the Mid Sussex Rescue Squad.

Emergency response crew assignments included efforts to locate and identify source and incident mitigation. Responding units were reduced to Indian River with all other companies being cancelled while responding to the incident location.

The incident was an electrical fire with one of the refrigerated appliances which was disconnected.

All units were permitted to return to their respective quarters.
